The Legislative Assembly of Paraná has just earned another Diamond Seal of Transparency, a recognition that symbolizes openness, dynamism, and genuine interaction with society. This certification once again places the Paraná legislature among the most respected in Brazil and reinforces citizens’ trust in the work of its parliamentarians.
The representatives emphasize that achieving the status of the most transparent legislature in the country is the result of a joint effort between the Legislative Assembly of Paraná (Alep), the municipalities, and the population, which now participates even more in the decisions and actions of Parliament through initiatives such as the Itinerant Assembly.
Over the past two years, the Assembly has made a historic leap: it went from 59% to 100% compliance with the National Public Transparency Program (PNTP), reaching a level that few bodies manage to achieve.
The Diamond Seal is not just a symbol, but proof that the Legislative branch adopts modern, efficient practices that are fully aligned with what society expects: clear, objective, accessible, up-to-date information presented responsibly.
The PNTP uses rigorous criteria, which include the organization and dissemination of financial data, internal processes, legislative activities, governance, and the quality of communication with the population. On this last point, Alep has stood out with actions that bring citizens closer to Parliament, such as the Itinerant Assembly, which takes parliamentarians and technical teams to municipalities, expanding dialogue and social participation.
With its second consecutive Diamond Seal, the Legislative Assembly sets a new standard for Brazilian public service, demonstrating that it is possible to combine efficiency, transparency, and ongoing dialogue. An achievement that belongs to the Parliament—and to all the people of Paraná.
